THE PINK WALK MAY AND OCTOBER

WHAT WE DID

For the fifth year in a row, youEngine has organized Pink Ribbon’s challenge ‘The Pink Walk’ as a fundraiser for breast cancer research. In May, we recruited Evi Hanssen (tv presenter), Ann De Bisschop (wellbeing coach) and Daniela Prepeliuc (tv presenter) as ambassadors. And in October, we’ve welcomed Liesbeth Van Impe (chief editor) to spread the word and encourage people to walk or move more throughout the day.

We’ve sent out several press releases and made some interesting media deals for this 7th and 8th The Pink Walk. Partners like Billie Magazine, Play Nostalgie (radio), 10.000 Stappen (Gezond Leven), Wandelsport Vlaanderen, Adeps and Wandelknooppunt.be supported the events. In both digital and print media we’ve realized a combined PR value of an incredible €4,608,730.

 WHAT OUR CLIENT GOT

The 2023 editions of The Pink Walk were once again very succesful with a total of €350,000 raised for Pink Ribon. 18,200 participants walked around the world for 75 times. In October, for the first time, Belgian cities were competing for the highest number of steps per capita. A novelty that brought together and inspired people from 552 Belgian towns and municipalities to give their best. Lierneux (province of Liège) topped the list, followed by Villers-la-Ville (province of Walloon Brabant) and Antoing (province of Hainaut).

Because of the growing success of The Pink Walk after eight editions, we decided that we would nog wait another year with our iconic walking initiative. That's why we are proud to announce that the next ‘The Pink Walk’ already will be starting in May 2024.
