Our story
youEngine is a content-driven marketing & communications agency. We operate at the crossroad of brands, marketing and technology. Born early in 2017 as a merger between Newsengine nv (PR) and youAntwerp (Digital Marketing), we have 25 years of experience in public relations in Belgium and the Netherlands. Since 2015, we also have a striking track record in digital and event marketing in both countries.
With our expertise in communication strategy, traditional media management, PR, event marketing and online conversation management, we unite the best of both worlds: traditional and new communication management. The agency is still young, but the co-pilots, Aimé Van Hecke and Bettina Geysen, are highly experienced.
At youEngine, we take sustainability serious. Be it in transportation, recycling, energy consumption or even the consumables we use at our offices. We aim to leave everything better than we found it. Since we started working for the Belgian Climate Centre, we decided to embrace clients and companies that share our sustainable ambitions.

Aimé Van Hecke
Aimé Van Hecke is strategic lead in youEngine. He has extensive experience in strategic communication counselling. Aimé worked for over a decade for VRT, the last 4 years as General Director TV. He then became CEO of Sanoma Belgium and held Executive Board functions within Sanoma Netherlands.
Aimé has been President of youEngine since 2015. His focus is on strategic counselling and he is responsible for new business development. Aimé is also SPOC for a number of the agency’s cross-border (Netherlands-Belgium-Luxembourg) accounts.
Bettina Geysen
Bettina Geysen is youEngine’s Client Service Director. She has 25 years of experience as a consultant in media management, primarily in Belgium, partly in the Netherlands. Bettina worked for VRT for more than 18 years. She was brand manager of all channels (Eén, Canvas, Ketnet), before starting her own content production and digital marketing house in 2009.
Bettina has been CEO of youEngine since 2015. She focuses on operations management and coordinates all of our account teams. She is also SPOC for a number of the agency’s cross-border (Netherlands-Belgium) accounts.
